Privacy policy
This describes what the site does today. It is deliberately short because the site currently does very little with data. It gets updated when that changes, not before.
What we collect
Nothing that identifies you. hybridathlete.guide is a reference work: it publishes definitions, athlete profiles and essays. There is no account, no login, no newsletter signup and nothing for sale.
Our web server keeps standard request logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested, user agent) for operational and security purposes. Cloudflare sits in front of the site and keeps its own logs under its privacy policy.
Analytics
None are running. If analytics are added, this page and the cookie notice will say so before they are switched on, and the notice will reflect what is actually loaded rather than what is planned.
Cookies
The site sets no tracking cookies. A single browser localStorage key records whether you dismissed the cookie notice, so it does not reappear on every page. That value never leaves your browser.
Third parties
- Cloudflare: CDN and DNS, sees all requests.
- Google Fonts: typefaces are loaded from Google's CDN, which means Google sees the request.
We do not sell or share data, because we do not have any to sell or share.
Your rights
Under GDPR and similar regimes you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold. We hold none beyond server logs, but the request route is [email protected] and we will answer.
